Admit it, you just muttered "Oh no…" under your breath.
Milka Duno, the driver who was almost parked by the IndyCar Series for being too slow, is apparently making the transition to stock cars too.
But we’ll bet that the closest she gets to the NASCAR garage is when there’s an ARCA race at the same track on the same weekend.
Sheltra Motrosports, the team that Patrick Sheltra won the 2010 ARCA championship with, announced Monday that Duno would drive for the team in the season opening ARCA race at Daytona.
“I’m very excited and grateful for this opportunity to test with the
2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menard’s Championship winning
team,” Duno said in a release. “Patrick, Jon and Brandon head a very skilled and
dedicated organization and having met with them and visited their
facility it is easy to see why they are the 2010 champions!”
(Odds of that being an actual quote? 1000-1)
Duno did race in the Daytona race in 2010 and only made it six laps before being in that awesome crash above.
Is Milka Duno following Danica Patrick to NASCAR?
